TERMS & CONDITION FOR TUTORS
PLEASE READ THESE TERMS AND CONDITIONS BEFORE YOUR REGISTRATION. YOU ARE DEEMDED TO HAVE UNDERSTOOD AND ACCEPTED THESE TERMS AND CONDITIONS IF YOU PROCEED. IF YOU DO NOT ACCEPT THESE TERMS AND CONDITIONS, PLEASE DO NOT PROCEED TO REGISTER.
1.Eligibility
a) To be eligible, you must be a Citizen or a Permanent Resident of Malaysia.
2.Commission
a) SMART HOME TUITION will charge you 50% of the first month's tuition fee as commission for its services, payable upon request by SMART HOME TUITION.
b) If you do not pay the commission upon request, your account may be terminated at the sole discretion of SMART HOME TUITION and your name may be blacklisted and you may not get any further tuition jobs.
c) In the event you fail to pay the commission, SMART HOME TUITION reserves the right to suspend the class.
d) SMART HOME TUITION will not be liable for any conflict or disagreement between the tutors and students / parents. We will also not be responsible for any form of damage caused in connection with your use of our website.
e) Any attempt to cheat or deprive SMART HOME TUITION of its legal share of commission, may result in legal action being taken against you.
3.Termination/Cancellation of Assignment
a) In the event that you are unable to attend the tuition, a prior notice of 48 hours before the lesson starts, must be given to the students/parents. A valid reason must also be given on notification. The tutor will be excused if the students/parents accept your explanation. If you fail to notify or provide a valid reason for your cancellation, your registration as a tutor with SMART HOME TUITION may be revoked and an administrative charge of 50% of the monthly tuition fees may be imposed.
b) The minimum commitment time frame is 1 month. In the event where you terminate an assignment within the first month, BEST HOME TUITION AGENCY will recover its legal share commission of 50% of the monthly fees from you.
c) In the event the student prematurely terminates the assignment during the first month, you will only receive 50% of the payment for all your service hours. However, if the reason for the student's termination is due to your fault as a tutor, you will bear the full commission charged.
4.Disclaimer
SMART HOME TUITION is a tutor referral agency only and is not responsible for the services provided by the tutors. Each tutor is solely responsible in offering tuition fees, arranging tutorial schedules, paying all taxes on income earned, and all other issues and responsibilities related to tutoring. BEST HOME TUITION AGENCY does not keep records of the number of students and sessions taken by the registered tutors.
SMART HOME TUITION will not act as an arbitrator or mediator for any conflicts or disagreements that arise between the tutor and the student.
SMART HOME TUITION reserves the right to add, modify or delete any information on this website at any time without notice.
You are solely responsible for the information you provide to SMART HOME TUITION. SMART HOME TUITION shall not be liable for any misrepresentation, fraud, or inaccuracies of information provided by you.
The entire risk as to the quality, accuracy, adequacy, completeness, correctness and validity of any material rests with you. To the fullest extent permissible pursuant to applicable law, SMART HOME TUITION, its affiliates, and their respective officers, directors, employees, agents, licensors, and representatives, will not be liable for damages of any kind including, without limitation, compensatory, consequential, incidental, indirect, special or similar damages, that may result from the use of, or the inability to use, the materials contained on this site whether the material is provided or otherwise supplied by you. SMART HOME TUITION is not responsible for any disputes, claims, losses, injuries, or damages that might arise during and/or after any lesson. Teaching at the student's house and interacting with the parents and students are conducted at your own risk.
